The film premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival and was released in the United States on November 2, 2018. It received positive reviews from critics, who praised Pike's performance. At the 76th Golden Globe Awards, the film earned nominations for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama (Pike) and Best Original Song ("Requiem for A Private War"), while director Matthew Heineman received a nomination for Outstanding Directorial Achievement of a First Time Feature Film Director from the Directors Guild of America.

⁣Hidden Figures is a 2016 American biographical drama film directed by Theodore Melfi and written by Melfi and Allison Schroeder. It is loosely based on the 2016 non-fiction book of the same name by Margot Lee Shetterly about African American female mathematicians who worked at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) during the Space Race. The film stars Taraji P. Henson as Katherine Johnson, a mathematician who calculated flight trajectories for Project Mercury and other missions. The film also features Octavia Spencer as NASA supervisor and mathematician Dorothy Vaughan and Janelle Monáe as NASA engineer Mary Jackson, with Kevin Costner, Kirsten Dunst, Jim Parsons, Mahershala Ali, Aldis Hodge and Glen Powell in supporting roles.

⁣Justice League is a 2017 American superhero film based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name. It is the fifth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) and a follow-up to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and was directed by Zack Snyder and written by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon, based on a story by Terrio and Snyder. It is based on the video game franchise of the same name created by Ed Boon and John Tobias, serving as a reboot to the Mortal Kombat film series. The film will star Lewis Tan, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Tadanobu Asano, Mehcad Brooks, Ludi Lin, Chin Han, Joe Taslim, and Hiroyuki Sanada.

⁣Thom, a genius engineering graduate is interested in the Bank of Spain's safe. The Bank building is more than 100 years old, with no building blueprints available and a security system that includes an underground river that will flood the safe room if their walls are breached. As soon as Thom learns that a legendary lost treasure is going to be held at the bank's safe for just 10 days, he devises, together with charismatic art dealer Walter "Cunningham" a detailed plan to breaking in. ⁣Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen (Pål Sverre Hagen) was the leader of the first expedition to reach the South Pole in 1911, and the first person to reach both the North and South Poles in 1926. The film will portray his all-consuming drive as a polar explorer, and reveal the tragedy he brought on himself and others by sacrificing everything in the icy wastelands to achieve his dream. Amundsen is directed by Norwegian filmmaker Espen Sandberg, co-director of the films Kon-Tiki, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Max Manus: Man of War, and Bandidas, now making his solo debut. The screenplay is written by Ravn Lanesskog. SF Studios already released Amundsen in Norway back in 2019. It also played at the 2019 Camerimage Film Festival in Poland. Samuel Goldwyn Films will release Sandberg's Amundsen: The Greatest Expedition direct-to-VOD starting on April 2nd, 2021 coming soon.

Tides, also known as Haven: Above Sky, is both written and directed by Swiss filmmaker Tim Fehlbaum, director of the films Nicht meine Hochzeit and Apocalypse previously, as well as a few short films. The screenplay is written by Tim Fehlbaum and Mariko Minoguchi. The film is initially premiering at the Berlin Film Festival this year, then set to open sometime later in 2021.
